About Umgogodla Women's Forum
1.1 Umgogodla Women Forum consists of Female Traditional Leaders and Traditional Leaders spouses (Omama beZizwe), is established in terms of Act 5 (2005) and Act 3 (2003). The main purpose of uMgogodla women forum is to create a healthy and conducive environment Gender Equality which is a national policy since the government has signed both the Convention of the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination (CEDAW) and the UN Conference on Women Beijing Platform for Action (BPA).
