About Lymph Therapy
Erika van der Mescht has dedicated her physiotherapy career to helping patients with lymphoedema and lipoedema, as well as educating the public about these conditions. She started working in private practice in 2012 and passionately developed her skill and expertise in this field. From assisting lymphoedema schools like Lymph Education Africa (LEA) in training for a few years, advancing her skills with the Lymphoedema Training Academy (LTA) and recently doing Fluoroscopy guided Lymphoedema mapping, her passion and expertise keeps growing. Because lymphoedema is often a consequence of cancer treatment, it was inevitable to start doing cancer rehabilitation as part of therapy.
