About Amasokhela Agriculture
Amasokhela Agricultural Production is situated at a farm called Kuickvlei farm in Wasbank,under Endumeni Local Municipality. It is a piggery farm owned by 2 enthusiastic female farmers namely Lumka Mbanjwa and Lusanda Mhlungu. The main aim of the project is to produce pork in a commercial way using a production system that will improve overall farm income. The broader aim is to improve national economy and create jobs. The main objective is to enhance food security in the country,to contribute in the fight against poverty. To create jobs for local people and hence contribute to economic growth. Currently we have a 20 sow unit. Our pork will be sold via Glencoe abattoir to meat wholesalers in Dundee and surrounding areas.
